What is Annular Grouting?

Utility installation and culvert relining requires the annular gap between the utility pipe and casing to be filled. The preference is flowable fill. R-Geo with its flowable and lightweight properties is ideal as it has no creep and has high compressive properties.

Alternatives such as polyurethanes have risk of overexpanding or causing heat damage due to exothermic properties. Traditional cementitious grout fill can be costly and add additional weight to pipe surrounds causing risk of carrier buoyancy or soil settlement leading to deformation of lining pipe.
